BRAZZAVILLE  - The Congolese Minister of Health and Population, François Ibovi, conducted Thursday in Brazzaville the official launch of the project of support for the pharmaceutical sector and the Congolese Company for Essential and Generic Drugs (PHARMA-COMEG ).

On this occasion, he called for a better access for people to essential, safe and effective medicines that have to be accessible geographically and financially.

Funded by the EU, on the budget of the 10th European Development Fund (EDF), up to 3 million euros, or about 2 billion FCFA, the project is implemented for a period of three years. It aims to contribute to the improvement and strengthening of the pharmaceutical sector throughout the Congolese territory.
